Inter faith communication night at CSU

Hey guys,
Here is the message i sent out via our facebook ministry group "Josh and Sarah Lilly Christian Challenge" right after i finished speaking about Jesus on campus last Wednesday night.
So it is about 11:15pm here in Colorado. The multi - faith discussion night started at 7pm. I am just now getting home and wanted to give you guys an update. First of all THANK YOU so much for your prayers for us. Many students showed up to this event tonight. I spoke for the Christian faith, and there were 4 other religious leaders there also (Muslim, Judaism, Pagan, Catholic)
The format was questions and answer. We prayed that Jesus would allow us to share about Him, and that the rest of the religious views would look foolish. We also prayed that we would be able to end the discussion with Biblical truth. ALL of these prayers were answered! I was able to share the Gospel very clearly and completely. I was able to share the fall of man(Gen 3), The consequences for our sin (Rom 3:23,6:23), the love of God through Jesus (Rom 5:8), and the reality of what Jesus did for us (2 Cor 5:17,20-21).
The overwhelming reality of the night was that regardless of what other people claimed their religion to be, they all had roots in paganism. Even the Rabbi who claimed to be an hasidic Jew leaned more toward paganism, than biblical truth. The people who were trying to discuss paganism looked extremely foolish, because they could not even explain their own beliefs. It is clear that the enemy(Satan) will do anything he can to cause people to believe in blatant lies.
Jesus also allowed us to have "the last word". We ended with the truth found in John 8:31-32 - Jesus is the truth and obedience to Him will set you free!

With these things being said i need to take this opportunity to tell you about our financial need. Our monthly expenses with a new baby are about to increase. Sarah and I currently need to raise $1500 more dollars a month. We are very excited about this time in our lives. God continues to call us to remain in Fort Collins doing college ministry and helping with Church planting. We have had an incredible first year! We are looking for people to partner with us financially each month. Every dollar helps us reach our monthly budget. Whether you can give $10 a month or $100, God will use it to meet our needs. Our friendship will not be hindered due to your response. We simply ask that you pray about it, and do what the Lord places on your heart.Would you be willing to partner with us monthly?
