Daniel

Hey guys,
I have been reading through Daniel lately, and it has really become one of my favorite books of the bible. Daniel showed himself to be a true man of God throughout his life. There were many times when he showed himself to be faithful to God regardless of everything around him. Did you know the great men of faith that we all herald today always point back to their success being "uninterpretable time with God DAILY". Today i came across Daniel 6:10-11 and just really camped out there for a while. Daniel had made it the priority in his life to spend time with God. It was his custom to pray 3 times a day. This was not legalism to Daniel, it was life! He understood that his success and failure in every aspect of his life hinged on the quality and quantity of his time with God. His prayers were not some sissy prayer in which he simply said the same things over and over, but he " made petition and supplication" before his God.
I am working hard on being a man like Daniel. I want to make the most of my life for the Kingdom of God (Eph 5:15-16).
